About

Barrett has been teaching brass for over twenty years, and resides in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Barrett holds his Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music in London along with a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music for Brass Education. Barrett is a skilled and experienced musician with many ensembles, styles and experience to his credit.

He also is an active performer, he plays Trumpet with The Black Seeds, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and is Principal Trumpet of Orchestra Wellington amongst other ensembles.
